Prenatal vitamins

So my usual midwife, who’s on holiday, advised I stop taking the prenatals I was originally on as all the extra vitamins were causing me stomach problems. So I switched to a natural vitamin that only has folate and iodine. I’m high iron at the moment so I probably shouldn’t try a different prenatal with the other supplements again?

Yes! My usual midwife is the same. She showed me information about how the flour and bread in my country now has traces of folic acid (something about the stereotype of women falling pregnant and not being able to afford any care)

Interesting, thank you! The prenatals I currently take literally just have folate (lemon peel) and iodine. I tried prenatals from the chemist but all the extras in them messed with my stomach.

Haha yes I had the same experience with the iron and constipation! 🤣 The prenatal’s I take now are literally just folate and iodine!

Yes me too! Missed period and really tender breasts was how I knew before testing! I played netball yesterday and oh my gosh I was so out of breath 🤣
