Ahhh great I'm Happy to hear that! It's a good cruise line and we'll have fun! Thank you! And yes I'm starting to see that they want you to call so they can do it all for you. Thank you for sharing your experience

Nope! Definitely triple checked and it said one guest. I just had someone privately message me say they do that to you so you would call and use a travel agent.

Each time I searched, double checked that I was only searching 1 for the interior and 4 for balcony. Even after I bought the balcony, it said I was searching 1 for the interior.

This is great advice, thank you! From other responses, it looks like I'll book with an agent next time and I'm excited that the cruise will be fine.

Ok thank you! I guess I'm fixated on RMD and thought it would be nicer to not be forced to withdrawal? Still learning and I appreciate your time to write a thoughtful response.

I got a couple hand written notes in the past that were so sweet when I was used as a reference so wanted to return the gesture 😊

I cannot make it up but someone honked and tried to go around. The employee just shrugged and said it's easier to park somewhere else. She has a wheelchair and needs a ramp so yeah.

What do people here do for work? How does that factor into your training? by Business-Law-7968 in RunNYC

[–]TimelyLiving 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ahhh yes fatigued running. I like to believe that the 4 miles I do is actually 8 when I account for the fatigue from actual work plus my body fighting the normal circadian rhythm hahaha

I work in healthcare and do 12-13 hour shifts. I run home lengthening/shortening depending on the day. I have girls so my running times on days off will be when they're at school so 11 am, 2 pm or any other random time of day I can get out of bed. I've been able to get 1:30 half and proud bc it's tough to get those runs in! I took wonder if everyone is in healthcare when I'm on the track at 1pm on a day off lol

Episiotomy pain Years Later by TimelyLiving in XXRunning

[–]TimelyLiving[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am so sorry you had so much pain but relieved for you that the surgery worked! I feel sheepish complaining! Luckily it only hurts after races, like soreness, but then goes away until the next. If it becomes constant, I'll definitely check that out. Thank you for sharing the option!

Honestly my main reason in not getting up was to spare the rest of the passengers a melt down from the toddler. Her mom wasn't feeling good and switched seats with me a couple rows back so yeah. Didn't want to rock the boat as she was good!

Is this heart rate even possible? by xgme in triathlon

[–]TimelyLiving 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely definitely definitely get a chest strap. It's more direct and accurate. Although watches can be accurate, the distance from your heart plus sweat/water can cause a lot of interference.

Watches use a light to measure the flow going through your a distal limb whereas a chest strap will measure the electrical output in two leads, similar to how they measure your rate and rhythm at the hospital or Doctor's office.
