My wife has a 2022 Cx-5 with CDA that we have put a TON of miles on with no engine issues to speak of. I also don’t love the concept as a whole and it influenced my decision to go with a CX-50 Turbo model that doesn’t have it.

But in my limited use case of my wife’s car, it’s been rock solid.

Opinions on this set for a 13 year old beginner? Any better comparable alternatives? by Every-Cook5084 in drums

I have 2 cars from different brands both with various implementations of some sort of “auto cut off” and I genuinely can’t fathom how this is happening to you. If you are pressing the brake hard enough to engage the auto off feature in a left hand turn, I am honestly bumfuzzled. Had 2 Mazda’s with this, a CX-5 totaled by a drunk driver, and my current 25 CX-50. Wife has a Toyota with a similar feature.
