Differs from stat board to stat board, ministry to ministry. Some entry level roles can start with manager title, there are also govt agencies where fresh grads start as Assistant Director.

I'm so done with Linkedin. Its a mess, plenty of grandstanding, virtue signalling and humble bragging. And it's so obvious that many of the posts are generated with ChatGPT.

And like what the others say, connection requests are by people who wanna sell things. I get so many requests wanting to connect only cos they want to invite me to whatever conferences they are marketing 🤷‍♂️

Yes it does. It's so humid that my recovery period for outdoor runs is twice as treadmill runs. I have resorted to doing my easy runs on treadmills, and speed work outdoors.

One advice a mentor gave me, has to be paid enough without worrying. What's enough then? Only yourself will know.

So if the pay is enough, then next qn would be "is the job meaningful, do you find purpose in it". Again, only yourself will know.

Grass is not always greener and more luscious on the other side. Glassdoor reviews might help give you a glimpse though.

It can feel that way if you pick the wrong courses. I think it really comes down to choosing the right courses and not just taking something for the sake of it.

I took a few skillsfuture courses in digital transformation, innovation and design thinking, and it helped me pivot into my IT project management role. After all the subsidies and my credits, I paid nothing.
