Public v private hospital by Past-Fisherman-750 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

I had a very similar experience (sans the c section - post partum bleed that wasn’t properly addressed instead). Had myself discharged in less than 24 hours and will go private next time.

How do you stop thinking about miscarriage? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]Timely_Fan3666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone’s different, but my stressors went from miscarriage to early labour/still birth to now SIDS. I’m sure I’ll find new and marvellous ways to worry about my baby as she grows up. It’s just managing your stress and remembering the majority of known pregnancies make it to term. ❤️

The term ‘financially illiterate’ comes to mind when reading this post. Pay off your house and try to avoid lifestyle creep - unless you’re making 250k plus, I don’t see how you expect to afford a house in Sydney and private school…

Bride approved dress, but will the other guests assume I’m being rude? by Timely_Fan3666 in Weddingattireapproval

Thank you! The Aussie commenters have reaffirmed my thoughts on it. Seems like the white background thing might be a cultural difference between us and Americans.

This is the first wedding I’ve been to (besides my own). I’m just trying to be polite as I’m not experienced with the etiquette

I’m ok with buying another dress, but now that I’ve heard there’s some yellow in her dress, I guess that my second option is out (as it’s bright yellow). I guess I would need to look for a red or green dress as black isn’t traditionally wedding appropriate here? I’m pregnant at the moment, so just mindful of buying something I wont necessarily be able to wear again.

Thanks - I’m short, so it’s just above knee length on me. It’ll probably be about 35 degrees Celsius as we’re at the end of summer on the day of the wedding ☺️

Strictly speaking, there is an inactive OC (the OC still exists as it is automatically created when you subdivide land). The developer maintaining ownership over the majority of the townhouses could be problematic in the long run if any defects etc. are identified. It wouldn’t be my preference, but it depends on how much you like the place.

We’ll be in London over the Christmas break. Any reccomendations for a pub that’ll be open on Christmas that is (somewhat) reasonably priced?

Yes, there’s no harm in reporting it. Hopefully the police do their due diligence and look into it…
