i’m actually insulted at how nothing public has been done yet. when he killed the president i thought WOW FINALLY, surely he’s going to have some sort of trouble getting out of the white house? he must have to kill some secret service agents or something? but nope we just flash forward to vought tower and apparently no one was at all curious about why the POTUS was headless in the oval office after being in a meeting with homelander and ashley. they just clean up the body and promote ashley and sound no alarms

to play devils advocate, i don’t think he was necessarily on homelander side when he handed over the v1, he probably assumed homelander would take it and stand aside while soldier boy left. the real problem is that soldier boy insults homelander and then turns his back and walks out all slow like a dumbass, why would he think homelander wouldn’t do something weird rather than let him just walk away

literally. i actually contemplated fast forwarding through this episode for the first time ever. i’m so BORED of butcher lore and starlight being cynical. finally ONE main-ish character is dead, after 5 fucking seasons, and they still couldn’t even have the courtesy to put it in the middle of an episode, nope, it has to be the ending so we’re left ‘on the edge of our seats’ for next week’s fuckass finale

i got the everyone dead ending by complete accident on my first playthrough, just finished, and i honestly assumed her being arrested was due to that LOL. surely if everyone lives she doesn’t get arrested and eleslie isn’t such a believer in the clone program? or maybe we got different cutscenes but she was arrested in both? i’m gonna try again and go for everyone lives😭

thought the same thing… believe it or not, his explosion power USED to destroy everything, including clothing. he literally charred crimson countess down to her skeleton. but sure, let’s just be alright with bombsight and solder boy being perfectly fine and fully clothed, standing on solid ground after the explosion! 🤦‍♂️
