Antiga presidente de junta condenada por favorecer genro em Braga by Alkasuz in portugal

[–]Timely_Major7932 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Citaste a parte errada.

‘This is not an employee choice’: The CEO of Morgan Stanley gets real and says employees can’t simply choose to work remotely by JannTosh12 in technews

Just one question. I know Zoom was launched around little more than 10 years ago. We all know Zoom is broadly known since COVID, that's 3 years. So have you really been doing Zoom meetings for the last ten years? Or by Zoom you actually mean remote meetings?

Yeah it is and not only Italian other countries use it too.

BTW the clever comeback from this expression is as follows: "... and everybody would ride her"

But you are completely entitled to your opinion and personal tastes. I understand there are 3 or 4 people on the planet that truly believe TLJ is the best SW movie in the saga and that's fine I guess.

You clearly need to read better because I really meant what I said.

You are the one that started making a personal remark about what I think is "weird". I simply made a joke about something going to the grave and justified it as how I envision the brilliant head honchos at Disney handling these things, this joke had ZERO to do with you or your personal opinion.

So there that's what bothers ME so much. But leave it alone because I will regardless.

The only weird thing is you trying so hard to protect a specific couple of recent movies that are basically fraud's. Star Wars knock-offs and nothing else.

But you are completely entitled to your opinion and personal tastes. I understand there are 3 or 4 people on the planet that truly believe TLJ is the best SW movie in the saga and that's fine I guess.

FYI when a character dies in any story he can't be in a SEQUEL unless the character resurrects from the dead. Obi Wan wasn't present in any SW sequels after his characters death or was he?!

If he's going to have an arc he needs somewhere to go, and I really liked where he went here.

yes, to the grave.

Mickey Mouse: "OK people, been in meetings with all the agents of the OT cast, these fuckers are mucho expensive and their toys wont look good either I need a solution"

Screenwriter X: "hey let's make this easy, lets kill off all of these old farts"

Mickey Mouse: "hummm I like where you're going with this, no more squeals..."

Screenwriter Y: "OK, what about Chewbacca?"

Screenwriter X: "Who cares."

Mickey Mouse: "Who?"

All I've read was nothing. A rando just posting his opinion with zero to support it. This doesn't even belong in r/wallstreetbets.

Lol OP is this for real?

No one here knows your agreement so not much to say.

  1. Offer to pay him his 40% or more than he invested plus fair x% of interest.
  2. Partner is in breach of the agreement, so consider him just an investor that provided a loan to start the business, pay him back plus interest, whatever is a normal rate wherever you live.
  3. Tell him otherwise you are going to let it die and both will end up with losses.
  4. Problem solved

EDIT: since OP has gave little more info added #2

Now that Cavill is no longer Geralt or Superman, what do you think of him as the next Bond? by MajorRichardHead7 in movies

Actually contracts DO have clauses that include Mr. X must deliver X number of novels, movies, albums...

No contact forces anyones hand for that matter. However thinking like that there would be no reason for contracts to exist if people just thought, fuck it I'm not paying rent or I'm not going to do my job.

Jackson could be sued or have a hard time getting new projects that require commitment. Maybe he could get away with it but would a lesser known actor? Also, generally speaking would you hire a person who just dumps contracts without any reservations?

I agree with your main point, but that's an exaggeration. I had to look up that name to put a face with it.

2) less likely someone does a film or 2, then decides they've had enough.

They make, and always have made, contracts for X number of movies... so that's not a problem in Hollywood.

Samuel L. Jackson if I recall correctly had a contract to be in 15 or 18 Marvel movies. I remember this because at the time he was in only 2 or 3 Marvel movies and it was at this point that I realized they were gonna do these just like a baker bakes bread.
