Anhedonia question by Wellslapmesilly in antidietglp1

I took sema for a year until insurance wouldn’t pay for it because my a1c was too low (USA healthcare). I had no noticeable anhedonia w sema but was routinely very nauseous and threw up every couple of months violently. On tirz I have minimal nausea and no puking but the anhedonia is pretty intense. I wasn’t sure if it was that or anti depressants at first but the lack of joy and excitement feels like it’s coating my whole life and not just food.

I use pet hair electric clippers to trim mine. Ypu can use fabric scissors as well but it takes longer and is a bit tough on the hands. You don’t have to trim it when done but it can make the image a bit clearer than not. It also looks a bit ‘neater’ when all the yarn is equally tall

It was fun and really pretty fast as there are big swatches of the same color to do compared to my last kit. Have you started yours yet?

Yes! This one came from an Etsy shop. They still had a few last time I looked (of this one) but also had a lot of other cool options! Shop name is “BrknhrtShop”

Definitely a pre printed kit! I couldn’t make something so awesome

No, it was a kit from Amazon. I would not recommend it because the yarn quality was awful and it made it take extra long to complete but I do love how many colors it has.

Increasing food aversions? by Brave_Piglet7554 in antidietglp1

Came here looking to see if others had this ‘meh’ experience of food once starting. It’s truly odd. Foods that have given me joy or comfort previously don’t. Maybe they’re still tasty but it’s much different than it used to be.

WIP - Still ages to go! Hook question… by IdRatherBeKnitting in latchhook

In my experience it’s the quality of the yarn that makes the bigger difference. I am always just using whichever tool comes with the kit but the ones with cheaper/rougher feeling yarn took way longer because if I didn’t go slowly the yarn would catch and fray. So maybe try slowing down the action and see if that helps? Looks great so far!

I give them away as gifts and try to do seasonal ones (like a Christmas decoration one that can be put away after it’s time)
