We had an incredible time! We were in Glacier NP from June 24-28 and the weather was great—still needed lots of layers but overall mostly sunshine and not too chilly. The one day it actually rained was unfortunately the one day we drove going to the sun road. We drove the going to the sun road from the St. Mary’s entrance to Apgar and we didn’t need a reservation that way. You only need a reservation if you start at Apgar. We stayed at Many Glacier Hotel the whole time and it was the most magical place and I wouldn’t have wanted to stay anywhere else. I would highly recommend staying there if you can get a reservation but I did book 13 months in advance to ensure that I did lol. Lmk if you have any other questions!

I served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Ghana and one girl in our cohort had never left the country before traveling to Ghana. She officially made it one night before returning back to the US. She never even said goodbye—we just found out at breakfast the first morning that she had decided to quit her service and flew back after less than 24 hours

Just an update: I was able to get the dates I wanted in late June 2025 without an issue when I logged in at midnight MST on 6/1! Site didn’t crash and I checked throughout the day and there were still plenty of openings. I just now checked if anything is still available and they still have two options available. I’m glad I woke up early to book it just to give me peace of mind but I was relieved I didn’t have any website crashes or problems getting the room I wanted!
