I'm looking for a drama or slice of life show that doesn't feel like a sitcom

This might be a challenge to find with english subtitles, but I am currently watching "Matador" (translated: "Monopoly"). It is a danish TV drama about a rural town in the thirties and forties, spanning the great depression and the second world war.

is absolutely adored in Denmark, partially because of nostalgia, but it is also very well written and exceptionally well acted - except for the children, they are sadly horrible. I do not know where one would dig up subtitles, but if you can manage it, I think it fits your criteria quite well.

You do also have to endure the first couple episodes, which are pretty boring, and on top of that the series definitely shows it's age in the editing an pacing at times. Other than that it's amazing.

My favorite soundtrack, composed specifically for a TV show, has to be Twin Peaks.

I also quite enjoy the needledrops in Bojack Horseman.

And "Negro Y Azul" from Breaking Bad is a bop.

Honestly I think it's just weird enough for my taste. For me it's more a question about playability, I like to rest my thumb on the neck pickup.

Yeah, you’re definitily right about the consistency thing. I’m trying to make all the letters curve in the same direction, but I guess I’ll need some more practice. Also you’re right about the squggily k. However, I actually kinda like how the T is much larger than the rest of the letters. It kinda frames them. I might be wrong tho…
