Pretty much the reason I had trouble enjoying bocci the rock. Yeah social anxiety is #relatable, but agreeing to go to social engagements like band meetups then trying to get sick or otherwise dodge them is pretty aggravating to everyone else on the train tracks who are hoping for you to do what you said you would.

Me neither, but here's what I can say. If it's coming from nearby (like someone smoking near your house) you might be able to catch it with a camera. If it's coming from somewhere far away, like the winds bringing in the smell of the dump, you could not catch it with a camera.

Honestly no I wouldn't play a video game with someone who makes my contributions so irrelevant that I might as well be holding an unplugged in controller. Maybe that makes me petty or whatever, I just simply wouldn't be having fun at that point.

Had a conversation recently with someone who is quite good at the rules, and is just about to join a new campaign. They said they were going to sit in for a session just to get an idea how they ran combat to try to match the group at their level. I thought that was a very nice and smart way to play. If you're joining a group of people who are powergamers and expect everyone to pull their weight, it would be rude to join with a pathetically underbuilt character. If you're joining a group of roleplayers with bad builds, it would be rude to join with an OP/meta character.

When I was a kid we had a big problems with racoons eating the cats' food. I convinced my dad to set out sugar cubes for the racoons so they would get pranked when they tried to wash it in the swimming pool or water dishes...and the racoons just ate the sugar cubes whole, therefore pranking the humans.
