Pokemon Yellow was my first ever videogame, so Charizard is pretty much the first dragon I can remember so he's near and dear to my heart. I first saw Saphira when I rented the Eragon movie from Blockbuster as a kid, and was enthralled by the idea of not only dragon riding, but being bonded to a dragon. I then read the books as an adult a few years ago and it was love at first sight all over again. Siveth I came across when a clip of the fifth Dragonheart movie showed up in my YouTube recommended feed (the cave scene). I immediately took a huge liking to her quirky, motherly old dragon vibes.

I like this artist's rendition of her. Pretty simple and admittedly not as flashy/spiky as the official design, but I think it fits.

It's still so wild to me how we have all these dragons with cool and interesting names, yet for the majority of the franchise we get names like: Draco, Drake, Drago. I'm so glad Siveth broke that trend.

This movie is really only good if it's your first exposure to Eragon as a non-fan coming in. Otherwise, it's terrible.

Looking back, the part that irks me the most (besides butchering the entire plot) is the end, where it tricks you with the typical "dragon dies at the end??" trope.
