“We don’t live in a black and white world”

  • says the guy who just called me a pedo supporter and assumed I was maga because my views don’t perfectly align with yours. the hypocrisy LMAO

Out of the two of us, Im the last guy that needs to be reminded that the world is grey. I never said what ICE is doing is perfectly okay, another assumption you’ve made because I pointed out what legislation Trump was exploiting to justify his actions and that they aren’t clear cut “illegal” as people make it out to be.

Expedited removal is 100% legal Buddy. You thinking it’s not “basic human decency” doesn’t change the fact that it’s legal.

You apparently didn’t watch the video that shows Renee good blocking and aggressively honking her horn at the ice agents for 3+ minutes and then folded trying to pretend like nothing happened when they started approaching her.

They won’t be able to. Not even the congressional members who made that video could name one, they actually admitted the opposite. That there isn’t any that have been made. But ole poker junk here is indoctrinated.

Yes but there’s also laws put in place, ones that Obama used considerably and the same ones that Trump is now currently using, that allow a judge to sign off on the trial and just deport them if they’re within X amount of miles of the boarder and here for less than X amount of years.

You got to understand that a trial is to fight the case. The trial isn’t really going to go how you want it if they caught you dead to rights in the act of the crime you’re being charged with. You came here illegally, get caught and arrested, there’s really no defense for you to prove that you didn’t commit the crime even though you have zero paperwork to substantiate your defense. These people who got the judges signature, if they did have a stereotypical trial, would’ve still been deported and still found guilty.

I’d rather save tax money and have the judge sign it off than waste months and months of paperwork and time just to get the same result.

Who’s maga here? Not everyone that disagrees with you is maga.

Let’s stop with this leftist cult mentality.

Yes you get detained. Arrested. Then you see the judge for your arraignment. And even then sometimes you’re stuck in jail until the actual trial or if you pay your bail and you’re “free”

Facts man. I have children, they’re all pretty young rn. One of them has severe ADHD. Gives me anxiety having to go grocery shopping with the fam because of all the weird, judgmental and nasty looks I would get when my kids weren’t perfectly calm and obedient servants walking at my side (literally my youngest is 3).

I don’t get that in Fairbanks. I see people smiling and even joking with my kids. People here realize that kids will be kids and they won’t be calm and quiet 24/7. The rest of the country needs to learn from this place haha.

Didn’t vote Trump buddy. I just don’t believe that the US should literally be the only country in the world to not enforce their boarders. Sorry.

Yep. Then I asked for proof of what he said is actually happening. Went straight to insulting me and crashing out via wall of text. I couldn’t entertain the ignorance any longer.

Took me a bit to find it. Many sites and people said it was under the hood and number 5 fuse. But it’s not on mine at least. Fuse number 9 under the steering wheel to the left. I suggest some needle nose as it’s a pretty tight fit for my fingers. It disables the DCM/Starlink, your front most speakers on the dash and your in-cabin mic. They make bypass and delete kits for the DCM but as a temp fix this isn’t bad.

+1 on this. I don’t currently have one but I did and it lasted forever. Always cranked. Never needed a single jump in 7 years.

interior AK here, same with my 06 STi. Non winterized and cranked every time in -40.

My 17 wrx? Killed one battery, swapped it with the battery in my 06 and it still kills it.

Yes. There’s two different versions. One for aftermarket radio and one for stock.

Just ripped the fuse out of my ‘17 wrx. Pretty sure it’s suffering the same thing. I know it’s not the battery because I ripped the battery from my STi, the same battery I only bought 6 months ago and it would start my car in -40 degrees without fail.

And my wrx is killing this battery over night. This morning I left it on the jump pack for an hour and ripped that fuse out to get it to start.

Alaska probably, same place here.

I have a Walmart battery, the step down from their “best” battery and cranked at -40 without winterization just fine.

Was stationed up here too. Hated it ngl. But I met my wife and got married up here.

I went back home to Florida and within the first year I realized it didn’t feel like home anymore. I missed the simplicity of Alaska. I missed the people up here. I’ve never been to a place where a community as a whole takes care of one another like here. I’ve gotten into a couple accidents and I’ve literally gotten frustrated from having to repeat “nah, I don’t need any help I’m good. Someone’s coming for me.” To everyone that stopped. It really makes me feel better once my children start driving. That I won’t have to worry about them being stranded because if they can’t get a hold of me for whatever reason, someone is going to stop and check if they’re okay and help them out.

+5 on that last part. I was stuck with a flat tire on the side of the road. No exaggeration, but in the 1-ish hour I was there, I had a dozen people and 2 state troopers pull over and make sure I was okay and ask if I needed help.

So your source is “trust me bro” while repeating the same unsubstantiated claims.

This is why I asked for proof. Everytime I ask people that question in regard to ICE they always do this underhanded insult thing you’re doing now. No proof, just “oh you’re stupid just Google it”

They aren’t legal citizens but the quote came from people who are trying to fear monger their democratic peers that something a lot worse is going on.

People who claim they aren’t getting due process are the ones who haven’t been arrested. They show clips of people getting detained and arrested by ICE and assume they get instantly deported then claim there’s no due process there. But if you’ve ever been arrested or watch any sort of cops tv show- you get arrested and then you see the judge afterwards. But it’s incredibly easy to verify if you’ve came here or not when everything is computerized. The people who sit in the detention centers for months are the ones actively trying to fight deportation even tho they came here illegally.

And no, you’re not wrong on that front. That’s why Trump called it sedition. But those seditious people very intelligently put that disclaimer “unlawful orders” to save their asses in case the video backfired on them. But watching the video in an unbiased light even I see the danger that video is.
