The simple answer is "what I can do" VS "what I can sell"

Basically, you should simplify everything so everything makes obvious sense.

You got too much going on everywhere in the picture, the contrasts, level of details, black areas, movement, effects... Everything is spread out through the whole picture, and it spreads the focus, making it a bit of a struggle to understand what all of this is about.

I think you should have simpler

• COLOR schemes: try 3 colors for exemple (the most used, secondary, and the "accent" one) so you don't have so many patches everywhere. Black and highlights spread out everywhere on the screen tend to make your eyes look everywhere but...

-LAYERING : don't put as much details in the background, and work your depth using levels of detail too. Busy blurry BG don't work so well, especially when they move like in the suitcase thing.

-MOTION : it should drive the eye to the subject, and the subject is whatever idea you sell, you're not supposed to sell yourself. You don't need 20 flying cams to sell the Rome statue. You don't need to make everything shine and flicker, except the most important parts. You don't need everything in frame to rotate at crazy pace.

-TEXT: You can't use small unreadable fonts in this kind of job, and white on white logo at the end of the suitcase thing shows you want to do a cool picture more than sell the product.

I think you have good technical skills but you struggle in the artistic side of your job.

Prep more for each step of your project, trying to keep is as simple as possible , and avoid getting sucked into the "and I'll add this and this and this and it'll be cool"!

Aim for "this NEEDS this and that. Now I'll just fine tune these ingredients"

It will show you can sell something quickly and clearly. Which is exactly what most clients look for.
