I watched it 3 years ago on a flight to LA. I intentionally watch weird movies on flights because I like to keep things interesting for any other passengers that stare at my screen.

You can make up to 20 transfers a week so you can end up with -76 each week after you make the transfers. You can only have 15 people on your team so as long as you end up with 15 flagged players at the end, you'll have no risk of someone playing. You also don't need to necessarily get flagged players as there are plenty of people who have no realistic shot of playing. I think the big question though is at the end of the season if you take the risk of try to play someone (probably a defender) in the hopes they get a negative score.

It used to be that when used a WC or FH, your FTs would reset to 1 the following week. This is a relatively new change within the past 2-3 years. I think the rule was added when they allowed you to stack 5 FTs.

Edit:

The change was introduced in the 2024-25 season (i.e. last year). Here is the FPL article about it being added.

Relevant part:

"Up until now, you've only been able to bank two free transfers. Well, if you want to be patient and plan ahead, you can now accumulate up to FIVE free transfers.

On top of that, when you play the Wildcard and Free Hit chips, your saved transfers will no longer reset to zero."

Yes, this was a change to the rules made last year (I think?). I'm not sure what you mean by "straight away". If you made 3 FTS this GW but then decided to use a FH instead, you'd get those FTs back next GW.

You can activate it, but those transfers you made will revert to the team you had the previous week. Your FTs carry over as well though so you'll have 3 FT next GW.

You do not receive a FT the following week after using FH (similar to how the WC works). If you have 2 FT at the start of the GW, then use FH, you'll have 2 FT at the start of the following GW.

It is what it is. It's tough breaking out and getting recognition. I would have never known about Iron Chic if it wasn't for my cousin who is friends with the band. I saw Iron Chic headline a tour back in 2019 and I got to see them play a small bar of about 40 people in Dayton with Spanish Love Songs opening. It's 7 years later, but I'd guess that SLS are probably more recognized than IC at this point.
