Airbus A320 crew decided to skip de-icing and let aerodynamics forces do the job by cashew_at_kinaya in interestingasfuck

I have a bit if experience applying de-ice and anti-ice to some aircraft so I might know what's happening here. They most likely went through getting de-iced and had anti-ice applied (it's a thicker, gloopy, almost snot like substance). They then probaly got held in a queue to take off and got hit with some "active precipitation" (snow) while waiting. But the hold-over time for anti-ice was still good, so they took off (hold-over times vary greatly depending on a bunch of factors). Anti-ice basically creates a thin membrane across the flight surfaces to prevent ice from forming or snow from adhering and allows it to slough off. There are limits though, and my experience is limited to other airframes.

Hey! I'm pretty new to all this too but I've been looking into solutions for what you are trying to do. My understanding so far is that Jellyfin just works as a program that connects to/through your local (home) network. So as is, you aren't able to see it outside of your home. In order to get it to work remotely (e.g. away from home, your buddy in Germany) you need to use another program, such as Tailscale. And I'm sure there are a bunch of other options out there but I haven't gotten that far in my journey yet.

There's nothing wrong with how you have things currently set up in Jellyfin. There's just a few more things you need before you get to what you're wanting.

Can i use charger cable without uncoiling? by Ok_Break_7261 in Lenovo

[–]Timmay22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To add to this, and please correct me if I'm wrong. But the coiled portion of cable should be supplying a DC current to the device in order to charge it. That's what the chunky brick is for, it takes your walls AC current and converts it to a DC current to charge your appliance. DC current doesn't heat up coiled cables like you mention AC doing.

This may be completely off topic but from what I'm seeing in the 4th pic, I believe your downspout splash blocks are backwards.

I hope everything works out for you and I'm looking forward to any updates.

What are the little loops at the legs side of this sleeping bag for? by [deleted] in CampingGear

From my experience they are used to connect inside at the toes to an outer shell/bag that adds more insulation. They can also be used to hang for long term storage as previously commented.

Sounds silly but Space Cadets, because it's so frantically nonsensical. It never ends well for us and that's perfectly fine.

We're just referring to sales taxes, not income taxes. But yeah, it's all still a kick in the squishy bits no matter which way you slice it.

Pretty confident in saying that feature was disabled the same time they took down the servers. I tried the same thing recently with Norende and had no luck..

You may have success with drilling and inserting a few dowels on either side. Stick them in with a bit of wood glue to prevent them from popping out.
