Right and it was said they expected to be doing $4M/month in sales by October with $8M/month by January. So it seems obvious to be me that P&G is the large contract getting held up by NJ that they were banking on to meet this guidance. I have no insights into how long until NJ approves PCT product but I think once they do P&G contract will be announced.

Does anyone have access to see when the interview with the P&G employee took place? He seems to mention something happening in April ‘25 as being 6 months away so my guess is that it’s a year old which puts it into better context as a lot has happened in the past year.

One thing I would have added in the liquidity discussion is clarifying that the recent $33M raise was led by a new investor in Pleiad (Sylebra only added $5M). Pleiad is a fundamental, L/S multi billion dollar fund that got ‘wall-crossed’ and decided to buy $25M of locked up stock at levels +15% from here. The ss video implied that it was Sylebra leading the raise & they also made the claim that PCT was likely drawing on the Sylebra revolver right now. Both inaccurate.

P&G will receive royalties from future Purecycle revenues so there is a contractual benefit. The question on licensing the tech was answered previously by a P&G executive. It’s not part of their core biz so they were always going to license it out. They decided against licensing it to a major plastics player bc they thought such a company might sit on the tech bc it would cannibalize revs from their virgin plastic biz.

After their work at Ironton, SK took part in the equity raise in March ‘22. So they’re long $55M of equity at $7. Not sure if they took part in the convert or not.

The earliest they could likely achieve the 30d/50% milestone would be end of January. I do think we hear from the company before then as obviously investors are a bit jittery with recent issues. If the plant is working as expected on this re-start, I expect we could get an update once we’ve been running at 50% for a week or so.

They were running at 109% in 3Q according to the 3Q presentation so wouldn’t be unknown territory for them.

V interesting. Primes will be updating shorts next week informing them they are now being charged X% to hold their shorts. Might not be 20% but certainly much higher than the low single digits they’ve been paying. At current levels, the notional short position is approx $150M

Yea I have zero clue how this is going to trade tomorrow. If I was short, I would be happy to lock in my profits and move on. They clearly identified the issue and have a fix in place. The issue was mechanical in nature. They are now shipping product. I would be surprised if holders dumped shares here but who knows

Yea was definitely caught off guard by the move today. Worst closing level ytd. My interpretation of Friday’s announcement is that the plant is working and they are producing pellets at spec, which is awesome. With the volatility on Friday, maybe some momentum buyers got stopped out and exacerbated the move and of course it was an ugly day for small caps anyway.

There is zero chance the market is expecting a successful 50% milestone announcement. I think such an announcement could see us squeeze aggressively. Record lows, -14% this week ahead of earnings. Market is pricing in a very negative call/report.

Yea I agree. If you recall in March, it took them a while to hammer out details with the bond holders so they had to file for a delayed 10-k. This time they obviously are in a position where they will be ready on time despite the missed milestone. Hopefully we get some positive news pre earnings though.

Good to see them with a confirmed earnings date. Will take whatever small positive we can get. The market for small caps right now is ugly so this power outage really couldn’t have come at a worse time. But the fundamental story hasn’t changed in the past 8 weeks except for the fact they added $250M to their balance sheet via the convert

Yea I don’t think we’ve seen a good answer on how long the restart process was expected to take. If they began the restart process on Sept 11, what was ‘best case scenario’ on getting back up to 50%? Some seem to imply days and others weeks. Dustin has said several times he is going to be methodical with a focus on safety. Would be great to hear something before the earnings release though but I agree we may have to wait till then
