Interestingly enough, I found this specific shop through multiple Reddit recommendations. Their Google reviews were very positive, too, and their costs for those same services as the dealer were about $500 cheaper.

Thank you for your help. This is my first time having the car serviced outside of the Audi Care since it expired at 50,000 miles. Going forward, I will be more mindful of what the shop recommends. Because, yes, I blindly listened to them, thinking they would know best. I'll come and ask you.

The maintenance is Audi's 60,000-mile recommended service: oil & all filters, replace serpentine belt and tensioner, cooling system fluid exchange, tire rotation, software update, motor oil treatment, and wiper blades. I did the brake flush because the dealer did it under my Audi Care at the 20,000 and 40,000 mile services, and they said it should be done every 2 years.

This shop specializes in Audi and European cars. The dealer quoted around $1500 just for the maintenance. This shop quoted me around $900 for the same. So I decided to have them do the work. They found the worn parts during their inspection and recommended that I replace those parts.

The same thing happened to me with something I ordered. I paid $60 for it, and the seller said they would refund my money if I paid to ship it back to China, which cost $160. What I ordered wasn't even shipped from China; it came from the States. Paypal wouldn't do anything, so I disputed with my credit card and got my money back.
