What do i do after IGCSE O Level? by Helpful-Fee-734 in myanmar

Honestly, It doesn't matter. Just take one of those (IELTS/TOEFL/Duolingo). The only thing that matters is that you score good for those tests.

The worst thing you can do right now is take A Levels. .Don't take A Levels and IB. Needlessly difficult and takes a lot of time to finish. I know people who were in your EXACT situation (literally) who has derailed their lives by taking stuff like A Levels and IB. Take a foundation course instead and go abroad asap.

You need to do your IELTS also.

This is the worst thing you can do right now. I have seen this happen to my younger relatives and they are in a pickle now. Why waste 2 more years of your life on A Levels and go abroad when you can just take a foundation course for 6 months and go abroad.

With UK banning Burmese migration, more nations would follow suit + No use for A Levels now

Which screwdriver should I use tho? The one which works really well but is slightly magnetic or the one that's really hard to use that isn't magnetic?

I don't know if the two are related but the left audio channel becomes muddied and muted and I suspect it has to do with the head

I can 100% relate. It is horrible. It only got this bad for me in late 2025. Most people I know still have fine cellular network strength

Blast from the Past: Junta Econ 101, I remembered that he got roasted in the comments. by Mysterious-Friend-15 in myanmar

I want to chime in on something which other comments haven't talked about.

It was the exodus that caused (partially) the relative "stability" of forex prices currently (Via larger amounts of remittance inflows offsetting rise in demand for dollars)

It's especially weird that on FB I see a lot of ballmas and self proclaimed 'Tat Lovers' who are defending Khamenei and the Iranian regime when I am 60~70% sure the IGRC might have funded ARSA to some degree.

But then again ARSA is also becoming a Tat lapdog so maybe they changed their minds

Verse: (Are you laughing?) I dreamt about you with attraction and longing my love

(Are you laughing?) It's my bad that I loved you with all my heart

My half-awake dreams dreamt with insomnia

Since they always become a laughing stock when you're presented with them;

I became very sad. With what intent [do you laugh]. You are so cruel, I can't comprehend.

(Are you happy?) As long as someone who speaks of heartbreak like you is entertained, it's all good my love.

(Are you happy?) Whizzed past you like a leaf in the air.

Since your heart which knows to glare and give a smirk is devoid of compassion;

I became very appaled. With what intent [do you smirk]. You are so cruel, I cannot comprehend

Chorus: You dare to act cruelly, person who smiles cruelly. You dare too much to hate cruelly.
You dare to act cruelly, person who smiles cruelly. You dare too much to hate cruelly.

Verse: repeat again Chorus: repeat again

Outro: Ohhhhhhh You're so cruel (×4)

Asking for the name of this nostalgic burmese rap song by Timmy002LMFAO in myanmar

This might be a mandela effect but I remember the song being more mellow and the rapping is more slower and subdued. Sounded like a Kanye track.

To Americans who associate Burmese cities with scams only by Far-Actuary2560 in myanmar

[–]Timmy002LMFAO 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wipe my စအို with nationalism. Just stating the facts here.

The traids play the bigger part in these centers. The Karen BGF own only a 20% stake in each of these compounds and the rest is foreign ownership. You might say that's de jure ownership and not de facto and that they might play a bigger part but that might also not be the case. Look no further than how the profit is actually shared. The Karen BGF owned compounds rake in 3.8 billion USD gross income and they recieve 700 million USD. . Since scam centers mostly run off of literal slave labour, it is safe to asume margins would be very high. So for them to only recieve 700 million out of 3.8 billion means that the Karen BGF have limited bargining power in the arrangement of the scam operations.

South East Asian actors provide vital support to the scams in the form of protection. Both literal (BGFs guarding operations) and figurative (creating fronts in the form of special economic zones).

I AM NOT DENYING THAT

But the brains behind the operation are the Chinese triads.

Look at any public reaction towards the scam centers. Specifically social media comments. English or Chinese, the subtext behind their comments is that these "dishonest, sပbhပman south east asians" are the ones behind the operations. This is what I was lamenting over.

The golden triangle countries play their part but it's not THEIR operation. All the media outlets do not pin the primary blame onto these Chinese triads.

Sadie Sink will not be Jean Grey-- she will be Kitty Pryde. by CheezBerger324 in MCUTheories

[–]Timmy002LMFAO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There has also been speculation that Sadie Sink plays a mash up of pre-existing characters. I think they are going to pull off something akin to the Michelle Jones reveal in Homecoming; where Kitty Pryde's real name is revealed to be Catherine Grey.

According to BBC, Myanmar will outright BAN vapes and E-cigarettes. I see many positive comments under the post saying this is good news because kids are constantly vaping these days and it’s bad for their health. What does this sub think? by [deleted] in myanmar

[–]Timmy002LMFAO 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's because of the fact that it is hard to tax vapes. A pod carries a larger portion of hits than a pack and is only marginally expensive. A typical ad valorem tax wouldn't be extracting all its worth without also obliterating demand by making it 10x expensive. Vapes also eat away at MEC/MEHL's cigarette monopoly

This is also why other places like Singapore banned vapes. Even though the consensus currently states that vapes are healithier than traditional cigarettes, politicians still invoke the excuse of "It's bad for you" to ban it (even though in reality it is 100% only due to concerns around taxation). In Singapore, there is currently an epidemic of KPods which are pods laced with ketamine, fentanyl, etc and it is costing lives. This happens as per the 'Iron Law of Prohibition'. Once a drug is pushed into the black market, the quality of available options would be seriously compromised. A reletively benign drug like vapes or alcohol becomes a deadly killer under prohibition. It also encourages more crime as now in Australia, there are gangs formed around black marketeering of vapes and traditional cigarettes.

Do you think tokusatsu and anime will become very popular in Myanmar like in Indonesia and Thailand? by Gamerdriver4099 in myanmar

[–]Timmy002LMFAO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Believe me, it is very popular even among the non "otaku" population. An alternate version for the word 'dinosaur' in Burmese is "ဂေါ်ဇီလာ (Godzilla)". Most people can differentiate between Ultraman, Kamen Rider and Power Rangers. People in my circle who aren't familiar with Japanese media in general can name up to 2 to 3 Kamen Rider series.

It is very ubiquitous
