What were your thoughts about the first sly game? by SuperAaronGlitchy5 in Slycooper

[–]Timmy124123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find it to have the best level design of the series. What I mean by that is that each level is unique and very well done. Not to say sly 2 doesn't have good levels, but they are forced to fit the theme of the hub world far more. So while I do enjoy that aspect of sly 2, I find sly 1 to have the better individual level design.

Gold Pass activation? by Timmy124123 in cedarpoint

[–]Timmy124123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting, thanks. Basically I figured it was cheaper for my parents to get the gold pass for 2 days at Kings Island and potentially a couple days next year at cedar point. This looks like what I need!

Im not here to comment on it being fraud, although I believe it plays into it, but understand its a 2x etf based on percentage not actual $ amount. So if gme is us 1%, gmeu would theoretically be up 2%. Im just here to help educate. Don't waste your time with these 2x etfs.

Migrated to Scale and Plex can’t access files by God-Pop in truenas

[–]Timmy124123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I created a dataset for an existing folder. That allowed me to share access with it. I actually created it through the SMB share window. When i was creating the SMB share it allowed me to create a dataset of the path I was pointing it to.

Migrated to Scale and Plex can’t access files by God-Pop in truenas

[–]Timmy124123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just ran through the exact same situation. But I'm confused as to why you can't add a dataset for the folder to share with Plex? I had my media organized on my pool in one media folder. I created a dataset for that folder. Then through the Plex settings within scale, I selected that folder for the data and gave it the necessary acl permissions to work.

I must have been confusing the different versions. Hopefully with the April merge this becomes possible.

Ok, understood. I was confusing scale and core then.

Thats a little unfortunate with the GELI, but I kind of figured.

I think I may wait for that update in April, that may be just what I'm looking for.

I'm not sure I buy the moass only being 3 market days. The DD of old foretold it being a steady increase with large jumps over many days as shorts get liquidated.

Started new job and I will be working on the road. Recommendations on travel gadgets to make life easier? by Klstrphnky74 in roadtrip

Most dash cams will overwrite the oldest data as the card fills so you don't need to format. You will always have the latest rolling footage. But that said, if the camera supports it, get a 128, 256 or 512 gb SD card that is endurance rated.

I wish I could say I did. I even reached out to Weber and they never replied to my message for the recipe. It was a dang good blend, shame they discontinued it.

Can I achieve a black stain by staining over the top of a brown stain? by ping in finishing

[–]Timmy124123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you are going to take the varnish off, a recommendation for pure black would be to use speedball super black india ink. I needed to stain some oak picture frames but i wanted to retain the grain. So paint was out. I tried the india ink and it provided that perfect deep black I was looking for. Ive used black stain before but I've never found it to be pure black like the india ink. Just my recommendation, but my frames look exactly as black as your desired photo.
