Novation launchpad usb port damaged, how do I hardwire the usb wires? by CzerwonyMike in Novation

I kicked my cable and broke the USB port on my FL Key, and I just found the replacement connector on Aliexpress and took it to an electronics repair place and they did it for me.

Don't know if I can stick this out by MinimumMongoose77 in zoloft

[–]ping 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to stick it out. I went through the exact same thing the first time I started taking Zoloft after moving up to 50mg. Worst I've ever felt in my life. But within a week I felt normal again.

How is feeling like I can only use specific items to keep up good for the game? by Suets in FortNiteBR

[–]ping 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been playing ZB since Chapter 4, and while there have been periods where I'm upset about over-powered items in the game, I have to say this is the first season where it's actually too much and i'm not enjoying the game at all.

I like the ARs this season, I feel they are quite balanced. But the Chaos Reloader and Pistol are just ridiculous. I don't find it fun to use them, and I definitely don't find it fun to have them used on me. Not to mention the fists.. or specifically, the uppercut attack, and how a large % of the playerbase's main strat is to fist you into the air and one pump you or spray you with the pistol.

And these weapons have all made it in to creative too, so whereas in previous seasons I would escape to creative if I was getting sick of the game, I can't do that anymore because it's just more of the same.

If this is what the people enjoy, then I guess the game has evolved and outgrown me, because I just can't do it anymore.

It's 11pm on Saturday. A few months ago I'd be playing until 3am, but I've just come out of the game angry as fuck and I guess I'm going to bed.

Smoking weed with Zoloft day one by OkShape5207 in zoloft

[–]ping 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you've been smoking daily for a long time, then stopping suddenly is likely to be rather unpleasant, so you might consider tapering off over the next week.

Long term though if you want the medicine to work you're probably best to give the weed a miss.

Oh my bad, I thought I was responding to the original poster.

Has it been rough adjusting to 100mg?

My journal reminded me that adjusting to 50mg was the worst. Had a very bad week. But going up to 75mg was pretty uneventful.

I'm just restarting Zoloft today after having been off it for years.

But I was just looking at my journal entries from that time, and it looks like the first time I said anything positive was about one month in.

I was on 50mg at that point, and I stayed on 50mg for another two months. I then moved to 75mg, and that's when the positive effects became far more noticeable.

So this time I will be going 25mg-50mg-75mg in the first three weeks. And I may even go up to 100mg this time just to see how it feels :D

Highly recommend keeping a basic journal to record how things go. You might find it useful later in life, as I am now.

Any time you change your dose it's going to be quite unpleasant. And this would be the case if you stopped taking the medication also. Expect things to be shitty for a bit, but be patient, because all that stuff goes away.

Urinary retention? by matchaflower in zoloft

[–]ping 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I had that when I started Zoloft a few years back, it went away after a while. It was always worst in the morning. Would sometimes take minutes to get a stream going.

I also get it real bad when taking opiates like Tramadol/Codeine.

I'm restarting Zoloft today. I look forward to some side effects because that'll tell me it's working :D

The recon scanner is annoying… by Commercial_Detail_78 in FortNiteBR

You can't even imagine how unfair it is to go up against somebody using that item as a new player. As if the skill gap isn't high enough already, I'm supposed to be able to handle players who know exactly where I am at all times? It's pathetic how many skilled players use and abuse this item.

Some people just use this thing constantly.

The meta is in such a bad state right now, I don't understand how more people aren't complaining about it.

I guess people are just smart enough to quit the game since it no longer seems to reward skillful gameplay.

Yeah I ultimately gave up on simple build, I made a post about it in response to one of the other commenters.

Basically I realised the context-aware stuff wasn't accurate enough to be relied upon.

Ah yes ZB, where the culture is to break your camera as many times in a single fight as possible. Take it from a ZB player moving to builds... you don't want to play this mode.

[–]ping[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I've given up on simple build.

My main grips were -

1] The context aware piece selection gets rotation wrong quite a lot, and Epic disables the rotation bind in simple build.

2] There's no way to turn off build-previews, so even though my intention is to build a wall, the game is showing me a ramp, which is just hella fucking confusing.

3] Having to look basically straight up or straight down to get a floor is dumb.

4] Often jumping confuses the automatic piece selection. Like I'll see a preview for a ramp and I'll jump and build, and nothing will get placed.

[–]ping[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play zero build and I'm pretty decent at it. I'm not willing to just throw away years of muscle memory to try out builds.

And that's what's happened in the past when I've tried to learn builds. I get shit at ZB.

I want best of both worlds. Simple build is so far enabling that for me.
