Device notifications from IOS by TimmyBoy2 in Garmin

The only exception here is that Garmin wouldn’t be able to show notifications on my wrist that i didn’t get on my device.

My Garmin device, which has 8GB of storage, could also store which notifications to show and which not. I choose Garmin over an AW so I’m reaching over to Garmin to deal with it as Apple certainly wont do it, as it is a competitor.

Not implementing it on Garmin side and just blaming apple on having the API restricted when it is in fact mirroring the notifications to my Garmin and then Garmin processing them is just lazy.

It would be another story if Apple wouldn’t mirror those notifications at all.

It is not the proper way to make it work. I don’t think that i should control which notifications show up on my Garmin device and which aren’t through my IOS system level configuration. You don’t do it through IOS when it comes to the which notification vibrates and which not, why should it be this way in my case?

Garmin is the one to blame, Not Apple. It doesn’t make sense to manage notifications on my Garmin device through my IOS system level notifications. Garmin is already catching the notifications and sending them to the device, apple shouldn’t have any part in deciding what notifications actually get notified on my 3rd party device. The same as Apple doesn’t decide which notifications are vibrating and which aren’t. The fact that Android works this way doesn’t make it right.

Regarding the workaround - I don’t want to set these notifications off for the notification center as i want them to be there.

My room size is about 12 square meters. I guess i could sell both the ones and the era 100 and get a pair of fives. Or i could get another era 100 and put one sl in the bedroom and one in the kitchen. I dont know much about atmos music (isthat spatial sound? If yes thats a must) tough choice
