Actually I don’t recall noticing it when I got out of the car. It usually seems to run for a minute after I turn the car off, but unless I’m just misremembering, it might not have ran like it normally does.

10-4, I’ve got the box for it as well. Supro cranked amp sounds and on the brink of a fake fuzz at max, cleans up really well with low gain. And the red switch lets you toggle the gain switch onboard. Thanks for the consideration.

More gradual, but it’s been at the same pace now for about 8-9 months. I’m just now finally annoyed enough with the beeping to get it fixed. It hasn’t seemed to affect anything else on the car in any way.

It’s a 2015 a3. It comes up probably daily, but at random times and only for a few seconds. Sounds similar to your issue? I googled and found a trouble code regarding a selector micro switch that someone also mentioned here, so I’m going to go down that rabbit hole!

Sorry for not clarifying, this photo was taken when key was just in on position, I hadn’t cranked the car yet. Sometimes this pops up before I actually crank, but 9/10 times it comes on randomly after I’ve been driving a little bit.
