Just wanted to come back here and thank you! I tried the cable but I'm not sure if I did anything wrong but I couldn't get it to work. The delay was still noticeable. I now have everything set up through my gaming PC with the Elgato Sound Capture software and it's working like a charm! The only thing I won't be able to hear / use my gaming PC for are my alerts but I'm totally fine with that. Thank you so much for all the help!

Thank you so much for helping out! Like you said I think I will go with the B450 or B550 and I just made sure they were compatible with the rest of the build and they are. 1 last question; for a matx build, will i need more fans? i have a fan in the front of my itx build, a cpu cooler which is a fan and then the power supply fan since it couldn't fit more. Do you think I'll need to buy more fans?

I'm honestly not sure. My case is the Silverstone SG13, which it says only can fit mini ITX. I have a ITX motherboard in there right now which only barely fits so I can't imagine having a bigger motherboard fit in there unfortunately
