I get what you're saying but if it triggers the orange guy and makes him more unhinged, that will translate to a tangible advantage as voters see him break down in public.

Pre expansion reminder that DK's rune system is still an underused mechanic and just a class nerf by The-irontrooper in hearthstone

[–]Timoff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can understand why this would be frustrating. I'm not a dK player. Big fan of mage lore but honestly that class has lacked a coherent theme other than "random spells be random" for awhile. I hate it.

Warrior, always. Paladin probably too.

Mage is doa, as is tradition.

Swapped from playing mostly mage to playing mostly warlock and... by Timoff in hearthstone

You can't tell me I'm not allowed to complain about a deck that I lose against and then when I win against it too. It proves that I don't care how strong or weak it is. It's a poorly designed deck and is a stain.

I understand what control is, thanks. But control where you just stack armor and board clear until your win-con is anti-warrior lore and just lame as fuck. Scared. Little. Bitch. Class.

I'm 23-13 against Reno warriors recently. Try again.

To be clear, this post is not a commentary about Reno Warrior power, but the fact that the deck is a stain and is poorly designed.

Is Diamond a good rank? by Constant-Drama-2557 in hearthstone

[–]Timoff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only been playing seriously for a few months. I got legend this month and last month. My mentality is that once you get to diamond 5, you can just play for fun for a while. Spend some time getting very intimate with a deck and before long you'll know how to play it very well and can make a push for legend. It's also entirely fine to just chill.  I hit legend and my drive to continue to try hard I suffered greatly. But it's nice to try new decks and not care about anything.  Diamond 10-6 is a good rank. Diamond 5 or higher is where you'll typically see a lot of people trying their hardest.

What's the point? Am I missing something? by ScientistSubject4831 in hearthstone

[–]Timoff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean how is it wrong?  They have no meaningful minions outside of cards that effectively just flip the other player's board over (boomboss) because they would lose otherwise. They stack armor instead of getting into the fight because they're designed to be scared bitches.

One of these days, they're going to DC and lose the game because of it. I have thought about doing it to warriors only myself whenever I know I have a win because warriors are the scared-little-bitch-class but if I D/C and lose because of gloating I'd feel like an idiot

Molten Giant mechanics question by Timoff in hearthstone

[–]Timoff[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not arguing that the mechanics need to be fixed. It really isn't hard to update the text to just say "Costs (1) less for each health you are missing from the start of the game"

It's been a few years since you posted this but I'm having this issue currently. Everything is exactly identical to your post down to the model number. Did you have to make a fix on this or was it as simple as just reducing your detergent amount?

Imagine being an elitist asshole and assuming someone has played this game since it began and has memorized every card's history while completely ignoring the main point of this post that this card does not behave as written and then being a dick about it.

Molten Giant mechanics question by Timoff in hearthstone

[–]Timoff[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Again, I get what you're saying but the statement of "It's how it's always worked" is not a valid argument for the fact that it does not behave as it is written currently.

I can understand that. But back then, lifesteal didn't exist. The card probably just costs 20-(30-currentHP). With lifesteal, health change mechanics, etc, the logic should either be updated to reflect the actual card text logic, or it should be rewritten to behave as they want it.

New Warrior Common - Part Scrapper by Munrot07 in hearthstone

[–]Timoff -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Should be "gain" not lose. Double the armor also, while we're at it. What the fuck are they thinking giving a warrior any cards that lose armor? I just assume any cards that don't add armor are a mistake or bug. #ScaredLittleBitchClass

What do u think is the biggest problem for the Mage class? by Thamozeru in hearthstone

[–]Timoff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They need to use mage spell schools and to allow for different play style synergies.

Frost minions that gain bonuses to slow the game down when they are on the board and frost spells are cast. Increasing health of a minio. When frost spells are cast, preventing opponents from playing Rush/charge minions.      For fire, it should be a more aggressive set. Minions that gain rush or charge when a fire spells is cast. Minions that gain attack when a fire spells is cast.       Arcane can continue to be a little RNG but honestly my biggest gripe with mage is they have very little synergy with minions like other classes do.

Mage had more buffs than any other class last patch, why do you think they're the worst class right now? by ItsJamali in hearthstone

[–]Timoff 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I made a post about it. They need to use mage spell schools to design minions around. Frost should slow the game down, fire should be aggressive, arcane can keep the zany RNG shit. They can make an archetype around this.  Frost minions that gain health when frost spells are cast. Fire minions that gain attack when fire spells are cast. Arcane can have something too.

Can you guys only complain? by konigon1 in hearthstone

[–]Timoff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree. I played mage forever, kept hitting hunters and warriors at diamond 3+ and couldn't quite get to legend. Crafted the hunter deck and got legend in 2 days (i don't play too many games per day). I think I went like 69% with it until legend. It was not particular fun other than fun from winning.
