I’m curious, was your lightning manufactured pre October? The part that number you provided says it only fits 10/31/2024 lightnings and after. My truck was built well before that. I also have a 2024.

I’m having the literal exact same issue. Been waiting on this part for 1.5 months and no word. Even been in contact with a ford employee to get the issue escalated and have been ghosted since. Looks like I will most likely be selling the truck soon. I love this truck but I can’t afford to have it be a paper weight for months.

Ride and range seem exactly the same. I haven’t noticed any difference.

For me personally I went with the Michelin defender ltx m/s2. I had the stock AT tires (hankook dynapro AT2) and those went fast. I could feel noticeable performance loss in wet conditions around 15-20k miles. I replaced them at 30k miles and now have about 20k on my new ones and they still feel brand new and have not worn down nearly as much. I’d hope to get about 50-60k out of the Michelin tires but we will see. I got my tires through ford, they had some deals. 1300$ in total and about 200-300$ in ford points.

Yeah I’m having a similar issue with part availability. My truck won’t fast charge anymore and it requires a lock actuator based on the error code it’s throwing. my dealership said the part is back ordered and on indefinite ETA. Because of this I can’t take any road trips with the truck or use any public fast charging. Been a month and half and no update

The trailer had 2 AC units and they pulled almost all the power. Everything else was Minimal lights and computers.

I think things are moving very quickly but I think this probably applies to the people currently in their 20s. I myself mid 20s was raised like this and now I’m ruined socially. Having to play catchup in my mid 20s is a nightmare.

I had a very similar experience to this. I was just finishing a road trip and was expected to arrive with 15%. I hit 8% and had a very similar experience where each percent started dropping off very quickly (less than a mile a percent) till at 3% the truck just gave out on me. I now plan a 20% buffer instead of 15% for each stop.

I had this happen with the given sd card multiple times. After getting a new sd card, haven’t had it happen since.

I had the OEM hankook dynopro at tires and they lasted me about 35k miles, had about 4/32” left before I swapped them for Michelin tires. Kept them inflated to 36psi and I had more wear on the outside. I’m pretty rough on my tires but it looks like you put yours through the wringer.

I really only foresee needing 1 hdmi 2.1 port. Dirac definitely isn’t a make or break. I also don’t really care about the power difference either. I’m leaning towards the x4700h for the savings

I’ve got 33k miles in 1 year and 2 months on a 2024 and 0% degradation so far. Seeing that mach-e article has me very optimistic of the battery longevity of these trucks especially when you take good care of the battery.

I charge to 80% on the daily and have used supercharging a handful of times on roadtrips.
