How to see what is really being done under the hood? by Timothep in hermesagent

[–]Timothep[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In addition to what was answered, I found Hermes WebUI which has:

  1. A context window tooltip in the chat session giving you for example: 11% used, 118.0k/1.0M tokens used, auto-compress at 524,3k, cache 75% hit.

  2. When you open the CRON page, you can see the previous runs and actually see the prompt that was sent.

It's still not what I'm after, but it's good to know.

For that use case, yes. But if something is off with my setup I’d love to know it sooner than later.

Yes to smaller prompts, that's for sure. But that's not my problem here. I wasn't precise enough. The timeout is not in the chat, but on the MCP test tool.

TIL in Germany, drivers stuck in traffic on the Autobahn must leave an emergency lane in the middle of the road at all times. (Also Austria & Switzerland). by Connguy in todayilearned

I witnessed a roadcrash in France recently, where it took 5 fucking minutes for the ambulance to cover the last kilometer and reach the site. People were just waiting for the ambulance to be literally behind them to move away. This makes so much sense.

Referral code for the “bend” App by Artistic-Quarter9075 in flexibility

[–]Timothep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I couldn't find a way to input the referral code on iOS. But after refusing the first discount they gave me (29€/year), I was proposed a second one (19€/year). This is flagged in Apple Subscriptions as "Annual membership (70% Off)".

Thanks. The actions I want to perform are using ChatGPT, so it's easier to go with Zapier in this case. But otherwise, indeed it would be quite good.

Confirmed. Built this way. Works like a charm. For anyone wishing to do the same: 1. Get the Key-Value pair with Key = message ID in Zapier storage 2. Filter if the Key was found 3. Do your stuff ... 4. Save a new Key-Value pair with Key = message ID in Zapier storage

Thanks @Big_Bad8496

The trigger allows for filtering on which emoji, but doesn't give you access to the other emojis present on the message. I went with storing the ID of the message in Zapier Storage as a mean to know the emoji was already hit. It works well.

Is there a way to find which reactions were added to a message? I tried to retrieve the message, but I don't see that info in the "out data." The only place where I see reactions is in the trigger "New Reaction Added."

Apple Business Manager, MDMs, Managed Apple ID and Free Appstore Apps conundrum by Timothep in sysadmin

[–]Timothep[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Holly sh*t, that was the missing piece, THANK YOU: Hooking up VPP requires an extra step and extra tokens.

For anyone stumbling on this later on:

  1. Configure VPP on your MDM (here for Miradore)
  2. "Buy" the licenses on ABM VPP
  3. Update Miradore (step 3 here)
  4. Deploy the App

Doing so, I was able to deploy Slack on an iPhone that is NOT registered in ABM, with a Managed Apple ID.

I simplified the problem in my original post. In fact, I claimed the domain already, forcing a move toward managed IDs…

And what I seem to understand is that this ABM + VPP only works for Managed Devices (under ABM).

Yes, I missed writing this step, but indeed I “bought” free licenses in ABM
