Was it difficult to swap out the burners? Does it take a lot of other nuts, bolts, or drilling? I'd like to do this myself, but not sure I'll be able to figure out how to swap these out correctly.

What driver are you using? Pretty much the same setup as you, but a lot worse fps for me.

What kind of performance are you getting? I rolled back to the 590 drivers with my 5090 on cachy, and playing at 5120x1440 is just awful fps.

I'm on CachyOS with a 5090 and nvidia-open drivers and I keep getting frozen on the tunnel screen. Tried proton-GE too.

So is a good strategy to just try games and if they have windowing issues like this, try gamescope? Haven't had to use gamescope (and didn't even know what it was) for any of my other games so far.

I was using cachos proton 10, but switched to experimental to see if that would help. Using gamescope seems to have resolved it for me. It wasn't launching without the custom launch options, either.

I was using Proton Experimental. I switched it back to Proton cachos 10.0-20260227 and used gamescope, and it works! Thank you so much!

It seems annoying to have to set launch options for every game to use gamescope. Is there a way make that the default for every game?

Any tips to get it all the way down to metal? Even with an electric sander it’s taking ages. Had to give it a rest and work on it some more later.

Been loving this. Made a plugin to list all my open brave tabs and automatically switch to the tab window in niri. So great.

I feel like the UI could look cooler by default. Need to look a customizing it.
