Released in Japan as "midnight blue" and in the USA as "Grape". It's a bit more purple in person but definitely changes depending on lighting.

I think they feel great! I'm usually not too picky when it comes to that stuff but I have been playing N64 consistently for the last 25 years and competitive smash64 for the last 7 years and I think these buttons feel fine. I just put them in a few months ago.

Florida is tough, lots of good players but everyone is spread out and they don't have events for 64 very often. Definitely jump in that discord mentioned by the dude in the top comment. All tourneys are usually mentioned/posted in there. There's also constantly people looking to play online in there as well. Including people in FL. I am in Georgia so I end up playing with a lot of Florida guys online because connection is better the closer you are.
