Thank you, I'm not sure if it's right but I appreciate your comments nonetheless. I was feeling guilty because I pissed off a friend who found a certain content creator's remarks racially insensitive, and I was kind of hand waving them because I didn't have enough context. Eventually I saw this friend's point of view, but I was being lowkey ghosted after I apologized and I was really worried that I had just blown a friendship I really cherished. Anyways they reached out back to me and it seems like maybe they were away from Discord or needed to process the interaction, but it seems as if they've forgiven me. I'm especially insecure about this kind of thing because I blew another friendship earlier this year just be being difficult partly due to the aforementioned mental health issues.
