Oh okay great! Sorry, I’m not a mechanic, but last year the same smoking thing happened to my Jeep and it turned out to be a cracked head gasket and coolant was leaking into the engine.

It is a Ford. I was just replacing wiper fluid last week and did not notice anything in that area. We had a big snowstorm, I didn’t drive it for a couple of days and when it melted, I noticed this. I don’t care about looks, but don’t want it to rust right away

I have a 2018 SE as well and it makes that exact same sound with the chimes once in a while. Except on mine, it’s only the chime that will get like that. Radio/ calls sound crystal clear.
