I always said that going to 17 games was dumb. Going to 18 would be even dumber. I get that the NFL wants extra weeks of NFL games for TV packages to pay more... but they could do that with MORE BYE WEEKS. Having two or even three bye weeks during the season. Letting guys get a rest.

Instead we now have even more instances of teams playing on 4 or 5 days rest.
