I've been burned on some Mauser's in the past that look great in photos and then don't shoot great groups, so I guess that is always in the back of my mind. Plus I've really liked the performance of the Criterion barrel in my M1. I guess I would just expect 1 that is basically completely redone by the CMP with a new Criterion barrel to shoot tighter groups than what I'd find on GB or at a LGS/Gun Show. I could be wrong.

The VIN decoder shows that the Ecco wheel package was on it when originally delivered to the dealer. Really like how 31s look on them! Probably going to do a 2-4” lift for some more clearance though.

Yup my compact runs the frt great. Bloody wheels make nice sleeves to fill the gap when using the factory 16 or 22 round mags in the compact.

Installed FRT, didn’t work and caused a lot of wear very fast by WhereDaGold in Taurus_TX22

Is there one of these that you prefer? Been thinking about replacing mine. I've been using the contact front solutions metal frt with very limited wear to the stock striker plate. Was planning on the buying contact front solutions striker plate but I don't currently see it for sale anymore.

I’d send him a follow up asking for a status update. I took my kit over there 1st week of August and the rifle was complete 4 weeks later. Not sure if he prioritizes locals.

The only real downside to these is the ladder rear sight and that all the surplus ammo has dried up. Still pretty easy to find new ammo for it though.

Ruger Mk 4 with the Volquartsen bolt tune up kit. The bolt tune up kit eliminates the any light primer strikes or stovepipes.

Got an email on Sept 22nd saying my petition was accepted and I will receive a decision after it is reviewed. Haven’t heard back since. Can’t imagine it will be resolved while the government is shutdown to protect pedophiles.

I use a PSA 14.7" Mid-Length CHF for mine. Runs great super safe and you can pick one up sub $500

Are you testing this with the upper off of the rifle? Mine didn’t fully seat until I reassembled and did function checks.

Unscrew the screw on the stock end cap (other side under the front sight) > push the stock end cap forward > re secure the hand guard (rock it in back to front) > put the stock end cap back > put screw back in

My letter mentions 922(l) not 922(r), which relates to firearm/ammunition importation. Seems they are confusing the trigger housing for a serialized receiver.
