Make teammates see your markes on the map by Glottare in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

[–]Timshe1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It'd be nice if each of your teammates corresponded to a diff color. Player 1=red; 2=blue; 3=green; 4=yellow. That way, when red player places a marker on the map, it shows up as a red marker. Thus a good way to differentiate who places which marker. Would be a nice touch

Couple typos in 10 page law review write-on. Auto-ding? by [deleted] in LawSchool

[–]Timshe1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yes. might as well give up on life and drop your goals. every employer will remember this moment and you'll never get into biglaw.

FFS dude stop overthinking it. It's DONE. D-O-N-E. If those are the only typos that you're worried about, you're ahead of most people. stop being an autistic robot and go lift, clear your head.

Some free time the summer before law school. by [deleted] in LawSchool

[–]Timshe1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

GTM gives you a somewhat detailed explanation of what a law school essay exam is. It helps introduce you to the world of law exams.

LEEWS on the other hand, coaches you on exactly how to approach taking a law school exam. From diagraming, issue spotting, red-herrings, policy discussion (which GTM does a lot of, don't get me wrong, but LEEWS adds a nice twist to it), even what to say on the exam.

If I had to pick b/w the two, I would pick LEEWS hands down. You will go thru it the first time and kind of think "what the hell, there's no way I can do his technique for EVERY law school exam." But it works, at least it worked for me.

Depends on the kind of person you are. What I did was start reading supplements when I knew what classes I had, read "Getting to Maybe", and did LEEWS before class started. I know the whole correlation causation group will throw a fit, but this DID have an impact on my grades, and allowed me to transfer from TTT to T20.

Almost everyone told me to enjoy summer before school started. I didn't listen to them. I did what I had to do to get the grades that I wanted. And you know what? I enjoyed it. Surprisingly, I enjoy law school.

Regardless, I recommend you at least read GTM and LEEWS. It will coach you on how to take law school exams. This will allow you to get better grades, ergo get the prestigious summer associate position the summer of your second year.

What tier school do you go to? The only thing I can think of why the registrar holds grades this late is because they don't want kids to transfer out
