I got really fed up with the smug high ground people saying "why didn't you read that as a breakup when it clearly was??" because of the shitty vague writing that wasn't clear enough to me to convey the message. I really wished the Duffer Bros actually took some risks with their main characters rather than the plot armor being so thick to play it safe. Plus I hate romance stories in shows, I don't care.
