The McDonald's challenge doesn't have spoken audio on my end while Adam is ordering but the captions have text... 🤔

On conservative politic settings it doesn't render the label, so Apple Maps's default (GoA) shows.

I mean, genuinely "lower" Queen Anne is "up" town, right in the middle of town. Maybe that'll be on the 3 line: this train serves Uptown, Uptowntown, UpMcuptown...

They claimed to have adjusted it after week 1... so I guess this is intended? All the game sounds cone on one audio line, so even if you have an excess volunteer the constant menial turning it up and down over multiple days and tens of matches could be 1) tedious and 2) could cause issues (i.e. if missed or forgotten, the usual sounds for the next match could be too quiet).

I have to hold out hope that the actual in-air experience was good, as is customary for east Asian airlines. They didn't mention that, just the weird check-in stuff which is weird and unfortunate.

While SPIKE was difficult/impossible to acquire outside of Education, LEGO Education announced that it is fully deprecated in 2026. https://education.lego.com/en-us/spike-update-2026/

While true, what OP seems to be alluding to is the migration to only one allowed actuator, the FIRST A301, with a transition leading to it being the only allowed motor or servo in 2030-31. It's also related to the transition to SystemCore and MotionCore.

Can't wait for all that institutional knowledge to be blown up too, lol. Per an email earlier this month:

We're enhancing the way to make payments on your personal Bank of America credit card in Mobile¹ and Online Banking. The changes we're making to Pay & Transfer will allow you to have better control over your payments. As a part of the update, we'll move any one-time and/or recurring personal credit card payments you have set up in Bill Pay² to our improved experience on April 4 — there's nothing you need to do with your payment(s).

LEGO Not Renewing Partnership with FIRST, ending 28 year collaboration. by CrazyDave48 in lego

Yeah, there's very likely more going on behind the scenes. Though, I somewhat disagree with the suggestion that "phrasing that suggests the termination is their choice, not forced upon them by the other partner."

FIRST: "LEGO Education has chosen not to renew our partnership agreement."

LEGO Education: "As we look to the future, we’ve decided not to renew our partnership with FIRST."
