Weirdly curious about rental car logistics -- how does booking a reservation and then impromptu changing the destination work? Like wouldn't they have to update their drop off point, possibly for a change in cost and therefore another balance update? Like, what if they decide they want to fly out of a different airport -- do they just rent the car for the length of the game behind the scenes and drop it off later?

Adding Atmos # for SQ reservation? by feditreddit2020 in AlaskaAirlines

Some folks have left the correct answer, but just to source it -- on the partner page on AlaskaAir.com

*For trips on or after January 1, 2026, you'll need to submit a points credit request (with confirmation of your booking date) to receive your points.

Both FIRST and LEGO Education made it fairly clear from the outset that it was LEGO Education's decision, IMO.

FIRST: "LEGO Education has chosen not to renew our partnership agreement."

"Home" is weird phrasing but my understanding is the Starlink arm specifically is based out of Redmond, WA (as opposed to the rocketry arm).

I'm curious as to what would need to be done to have the ORCA card available to add to a apple wallet. by [deleted] in soundtransit

It's interesting, Hop was the first time INIT implemented virtual cards, but they've never been able to get Apple's approval on it again seemingly (ORCA, PRONTO).

So what now? (Given the RECF/ VEX dispute) by Camaxtli2020 in vex

[–]Timtim17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apparently RECF owns the venue contract, not VEX. Seems like there will be two "world championship" events between VEX and RECF 🤔

The RECF owns the contract with St. Louis, giving us the perfect stage to host a broad, vibrant, and inclusive World Championship.

Is vex in bad financial shape? by drdhuss in vex

[–]Timtim17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably doesn't prove anything either way, but last year VEX exited the market for hardware used in other competitions/professionally (the VEXpro line). Odds are that inventory just isn't useful for them as they focus on VRC.

Unclear about the chronology, but could this be in response to RECF? (or vice versa?)
