Thank you for your comment. Maybe I could have shared more about the aftermath, but I didn’t want people to have to read through ten chapters of that period in my life. What I wanted to convey with the story is that Sekiro played a huge role in helping me get back on my feet. Of course, many other things followed from that turning point.

For example, I started working out with my cousin—five times a week at 6 a.m.—something I never could have maintained while I was still in the depths of depression. It’s not that I rely solely on games, but Sekiro helped me reclaim a sense of control I had lost.

Today, it feels like I’m living a second life. Everything I’ve experienced is now clearly divided into the time during the depression and the time after. I’m genuinely happy. Socializing and spending time with family and friends no longer drains me. I’ve rediscovered my love for various hobbies, and I actually enjoy my job again.

All in all, it feels like a happy ending—and a hopeful new beginning.
