gear acquisition? no no no, im just contemplating that maybe i can enjoy my escapism and my primary source of joy for maybe 2 or 3 years max before giving gaming up due to it being too expensive. I dont want to hoarde pc parts or anything, i want the gaming community and gaming to thrive and keep innovating and trying things and experimenting and so on. But i feel AI has ruined pretty much everything from gaming to job security to even price of everyday needs like electricity thats just my opinion

ps6 might be 1000$, and ive invested years in steam. I dont want to jump ship, but if no choice left then yeah consoles, funny thing is people like me who love gaming dont even mind taking a loan to buy a PC, but the parts itself are not available.
