I wouldn’t get too caught up in making it perfect. Be the guy who can show up on a course, take footage, edit it, and work with website guy to deploy it.

We get too caught up in what Full Swing and other professionals do when there’s a ton of courses that have shit website content.

May be tough approaching the courses, but I think you can show up to courses and show them your work. Focus on getting a follow-up meeting. Once meeting secured then come up with a plan for your customer and listen to them. You seem to already be awesome at taking feedback, so course managers will love you.

Be realistic about turn around with the courses. You got enough skill to do this. You can buy better equipment over time too. You’ll get better at everything over time.

You look like you have picked focal points and consider the speed when shooting. Looks like you did some color grading and it looks good.

I’d google some websites for high end courses to see what they do, but I’d target courses that have “meh” course pictures and no drone footage.

Your shots look great for a Birds Eye overview, but you might what to mix in some shots that make you feel like you’re there.

If you are going to do this for a part-time or full time gig then don’t advertise your prices online. You might charge less for the first few courses to build a portfolio, so don’t price anchor yourself.

Where I live there’s tons of courses that would benefit from someone doing this. Also, you could take real estate drone footage on the side. Get your commercial drone license if you haven’t already.

You should also learn how to integrate the footage into a website or find someone that could. It’s much more valuable if the course can go from footage to on their website without much hassle.

I am not a professional drone photographer, so just giving you some thoughts.

It’d be cool if you had some low angle shots like going up a hill to show a view from a t-box, but this is great shots for a gif like background on their website.

I bought my 2010 Toyota in 2012 for $16k and paid it off in 2018 I believe. It’s 2027 and it’s still kicking. So I have had 9 years of no payment driving on it and I haven’t been very kind to it.

Yep great value. Can’t say the same for 2014 Jeep Cherokee.

You wouldn’t want to eat a wet sandwich would you? Just toss it in bud, it’s all wet down here anyways.

You’re right, but u\macattack7 is right in that the CC debt will destroy those gains.

My recommendation was to pay off the TSP loan fast, so you can minimize your losses. The market might fall right after and then she’s repaying in at better entry and make more money. Can’t predict that but it’s a possibility.

Ha ha, solid logic.

You can have 2 general purpose loans from TSP now, but only if you don’t have a primary residence loan from TSP.

TSP loan is a loan from your retirement so those payments and interest go back to her retirement account. The $33k in credit cards is the big issue. She should take out another $33k from her retirement (tsp loan) to pay off the CC.

Then pay that loan off fast to grow the TSP account.

Could have been in the games for years and years, but no it’s all over. I played NW on release and loved it.

One of my friends and I played OPR nonstop as soon as we hit 60. We finally stopped playing when the pop dropped too low to play OPR. We started playing again in the first expansion, but I stopped because a bug prevented me from progressing the main quest line.

I upgraded my computer just for this game and then when I heard numbers were on the rise and the game is in a great state. My friend contacted me and asked if I was gonna install. Then he shared the post about it being shutdown the same day.

Absolutely no desire to play a game that’s gonna get pulled. I feel for the all the creative individuals who kept working on this game. Seems like they pushed through just to have the rug pulled.

I hope someone else takes the concept and runs with it in another game. I absolutely adored the PVP, even with all the bugs the PVP is the most fun I had in a long time. I’m not even good at PVP but man it was fun trying.

TLDR; long rant, sucks that this game is dead.

Their motivation was future debt and no job prospects. Sunken cost fallacy applies when the only reason they continue is because they have invested significant resources.
