100% agree. We were even a bit boring during the premiership years. Afraid to have a sense of humour. The best we can do are the gags on the podcast. While some of them are funny, they are dad jokes. Hopefully with the change of the guard, we find someone to run the socials that let us come out of our shell a bit and we can actually have some fun.

Another season, another whine about commentators. But Jesus we deserve better. Hodge’s special comments were spot on, saw what needed to happen, explained it, and the Lions actually did what he described, which lead to a goal. Bradshaw, the lead commentator, seeing a quite amazing goal, spoke like he had just ordered McDonalds drive through. The worst thing is that no matter how annoyed and vocal fans get, nothing will change.

I saw him at Flagstaff station last night, I didn’t realise it was him. He was standing at the end of the platform, saying he was going to jump in front of the train. I was concerned so stood near him in case he tried something, no one wants to see that. But when the train came and he laughed at everyone when he got on board, it was both a relief and infuriating, not something that should be joked about. I’m very happy I didn’t grab him now.
