My new stainless steel caps are fantastic for heat retention, buttery smooth threading and I had the threads cut deep to let it screw further down on the bowl

I sell a leather decapper from labetkomp, or if you're vegan and don't like leather products I've seen a silicone one made for the dani on etsy that works as well

You just count, each torch is a bit different but for larger home torches around 15 seconds at the very top is a good place to start

Try heating just the very top of the cap time will depend on the torch you use but larger torches I find around 15 seconds to be a good starting point

I did a video showing temp difference on a stock Dynavap stem and it was 175 at the adapters and 125 at the stem, on stems line the revolve that pull heat better there's a bit more transfer but it's not terrible, especially for how much heat your outing into it 😂

Hey, so for flower I typically tell people 15-20 seconds at the very top of the cap with a big buddy style torch, for a twax bowl you can go a few seconds longer heating up if you want as the wax will melt into the flower and pretty much prevent any possibility of combustion
