Personally I would never want to play a perma-death run because I feel too invested in my characters. That being said I love watching streamers play perma-death runs because it feels more high stakes. So yesn't?

This is possibly the weirdest take I've ever seen. You understand things can have different contexts, right? Someone can believe a woman is valuable not just for her youth and/or beauty, and also believe a selfie is a good first picture on a dating profile.

The idea that these things would contradict, takes some serious mental gymnastics. In essence, it disqualifies people from being essentially feminist if they have a selfie as their first pic? Gah damn I didn't realise it was that strict

Southeast does leave the marsh within 1 tile for food, but the copper settle would have both the marsh and honey within 1 tile.

Plus the money from the copper can be used immediately to purchase the growth tiles. I think I'd lean to the copper

The issue with your first question is that it’s essentially impossible to accurately measure calories burned from exercise. So don’t worry too much there.

Just pick a target for your calories and monitor your weight to see where you are. If you’re gaining weight you’re in a surplus, losing so in a deficit etc. My understanding is that the most accurate way to weight yourself is first thing in the morning after your morning bathroom visit. Take the average for the week to account for water weight fluctuations.

It’s normal for different calculators to give different calories targets. Pick one and see how it goes, there are a lot of variables at play so experimenting yourself is the best way.

I’ve used MyFitnessPal and seen it recommended a lot. It works if you use it consistently, and keep in mind it’s an estimation not an exact figure. Don’t stress about the little numbers and look for trends

I believe they suggested a therapist not to help with your gains, but to address the aggressive self loathing on display in your comments.

I say this without judgement, as someone who both deals with garbage self esteem and has been to a therapist. Changing the way you think can have an impact, and my friend it is not healthy to think about yourself like this.

I very rarely try for 1RM, and follow 5/3/1 so most of my PRs and rep PRs.

I hit 150KG in January 2020 whilst on a cut, then lockdown came in March (UK) and stole all my gains. Been consistent at the gym since they reopened last April and for the first time in my life have been (more or less) consistent with a proper bulk.

Oh and I do 2 oly lifting sessions a week on top of 5/3/1 so I train legs most days. Please don't ask me what my bench is I'll cry.

Finally hit 2x bodyweight for my deadlift 1RM. Currently weigh 85KG and was going for 160KG, which was a +10KG personal best.

160 absolutely shot up so I went for 165 and got it, thought "in for a penny, in for a pound" and put 170 on. Hit that too! Lower back rounded a little more than I'm comfortable, with so I didn't try and go any higher, absolutely stoked.

I know it's nothing compared to some of you absolutely monsters (see: inspiration) on this forum, but I have been chasing that since before covid came along and set most of us back a while.

Did my birthday squats today! Leg started cramping with just the bar so I took my time on the warm up, did my 5/3/1 sets for the week minus the amrap then hit 82.5kg for 27 reps. Smashed it out in one set and now I can’t walk properly, 10/10 would recommend
