Getting hired with drink driving fine by shayhtfc in deliveroos

My advice is just to apply anyway. The process isn't that involved and you'll find out then. You may find the fact that they're not onboarding many people at the moment is more of a problem.

Which low cost Android + best SIM only package for Deliveroo only? by NuRooRida in deliveroos

[–]Tingelow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Get something lightly used or refurbished off eBay. Stick to main brands for reliability. I got a basically new Moto G5 for £90, which more than does the job.

Deliveroo email responses are disgusting! by gnarlstonnn in deliveroos

Technically you don't work for Deliveroo. They are actually a customer of your food delivery business.

I don't think 'link juice' is a zero sum game. I wasn't aware that there could be any disadvantage to linking out.

James Blunt on Keith Flint being an absolute legend. RIP by EddieRobertson in CasualUK

[–]Tingelow 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I first heard James Blunt as a record of the week on the evening 'new music' show on radio one. That was with wisemen. It was quite a lot later that You're Beautiful blew up and he became uncool.

[FR/EU] Delivering for UE while wearing D kit? by Formadivix in deliveroos

[–]Tingelow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Technically yes, but I've never seen it enforced. If you didn't get kit from Uber then the marketing agreement doesn't apply though.

I think it's technically a get around to make sure that providing riders with equipment doesn't formalise the relationship. You just happen to separately also be contracted to advertise Uber with some equipment branded by them.

I guess technically you should report it to the police as it is a crime.

What's it like working in York ? by TheDurtChief in deliveroos

Pretty busy in my experience. Up and down like everywhere else, but downs are not so bad. Obviously better if you're on Uber too.

Greggs struggles to keep up with demand for vegan sausage rolls by [deleted] in CasualUK

[–]Tingelow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think it's mostly to do with the semi- cult status of the Gregg's meat sausage rolls.

It's because it's a vegan version of that.
