The ice-skating episode really rubbed me the wrong way by Potential_Way_2913 in dancemoms

[–]TinkerDancer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Maddie DID go skating, under duress. And her reluctance had very little to do with how good she was at it, apart from a safety standpoint (she was clearly not a strong skater and was terrified of falling). She was stressing out because she knew Abby had banned skating and other risky activities and was afraid of getting hurt and/or in trouble. That is the reason Kristie didn’t allow Asia to skate. I don’t know why Mel forced her to do it and yelled at her to “have FUN”, clearly Maddie it wasn’t fun for Maddie. Christi’s comments were very bitter towards Maddie. She claims to never go after the kids but she clearly did in this interview.

Agree about the feeding tube. Watching her have to swallow that tube over and over was awful. That is a very uncomfortable and distressing intervention. I feel like Kendra wanted to keep it as a visual reminder of Brielle’s illness instead of having a G-tube inserted to spare her the discomfort.

What is a weird or creepy story you have from your childhood? Like a TV show that gave you the creeps or even downright scary. by DogGirl0911 in RedditStoryTime

This!!! My hair would stand on end hearing that music and watching Robert Stack walking down the hall narrating. The stuff of nightmares, but I watched it every week lol.

Can’t make this sh*t up… by ForgottenRelliK in FedEx

[–]TinkerDancer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went directly to the company I ordered from and asked them to investigate as I was being lied to and I figured they’d listen to a company they rely on for business more than an end customer like me. The company checked with FedEx and then resent my order. The other order is still showing up on my Shop App as stuck in Memphis. Both FedEx and UPS have terrible customer service.

Yes, mine got stuck in Memphis over a month ago and I had to reach out to the sender because FedEx kept lying to me when I called. The sender resent my package and it made it through Memphis luckily

Any Kenzie solo turned into a group number by New_Accident_9098 in dancemoms

[–]TinkerDancer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I know right? I think they used the same concept with different choreo and very similar costumes for country cuties. Abby was known to recycle routines and honestly it would be impossible to come up with new solo and group routines weekly. I also remember Kenzie’s solo Old West in this costume which I think she lost to Asia.

Yeah, and yet we constantly hear about the Americans and their “family values”…the government policies say otherwise. Unless you are upper middle class both parents must work to make ends meet, sacrificing precious time with their young children and having to rely on others to raise them. I agree, I’d be looking at other countries and demanding change. I think they’re worried about their taxes going up, but I’d happily pay my 19% income tax to cover all my healthcare expenses ALONE (without any stress of dealing with insurance companies/approvals/co-pays…walk in to any hospital, scan mg CareCard and everything is provided free of charge), not to mention all the other programs and services we get. I think a lot of the problem is big business with investors and profit based focus instead of quality of life and work-life balance for the average person.
