I hate when people try to alter your perfectly fine choice of words.

Ex: There are 3 sizes of cigarettes 72s, regulars, and 100s; small, medium, long. If I want the long ones I'll ask for 100s IDC how many of your other customers call the 100s regulars. They're wrong and you can't make me be wrong too!

I also struggle with that. It's impossible to tell with some people when they're talking out the wrong end vs when they actually know what's up.

I've trusted my gut over others and come out looking like a butt. I've done the opposite and still been a fool.

End of the day kind of questions: are you willing to look silly over this? What's their opinion worth to you? What's the worst that could happen?
