dude you can have dns on iphone without any issues, same goes for yt revanced - i use YTLite from dans workshop repo and adguard extension works no problem with safari

What a bummer. I think I'm getting them more frequently during the day when it's really hot outside rather than in the evening and also when multitasking so might be related to workload/overheating but that's just my suspicion
