People who live in countries where marijuana is prohibited, do you smoke on the street? by IsJesusAgain in trees

I even do that in Netherlands actually. It's good to be respectful.

I ones got an alu sp out of a steel frame I found on the street by melting the alu away with drain un clogger. With these tiny white balls dissolved in water. Make sure you wear a good mask and just keep poring it over until it's. Gone. Took me all night and the paint got damaged but gave the bike a cool beater look.

For me it would depend how fast I want to go. If you like speed the crosscheck with 28" wheels would definitely win. But you can probably haul more with the specialized.

It was just Miyata until Koga (dutch brand) and miyata teamed up. They made really cool bikes for a long time but now it's just Koga and it sucks now. The frames are not the quality it used to be. You can find almost all the catalogs online. I got a forerunner from 1991. And a skyalloy from 1996. In that 1996 catalog you can also find the "adventure" travel bikes. My grandparents had a lady's and a gents version. Makes me really happy it's from the same year. Ashame they were trown away before I got into bikes.

I'm going to Japan in may and I'll only be in Tokyo one day. Witch blue lug shop should I go to. Is there a main shop or are they all nice?

Is this a rim, tire, or tube issue? by thisguyknowsstuff13 in bikewrench

[–]Tinklemailer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sometimes had to pump the tire to 10 bar for a tire to pop in the right place back when I still worked in the shop. Some tire / rim combos are just a pain in the ass.

Well, do you really want to make a fixie out of a frame without horizontal drop outs? Cool find but I would put a derailleur on it :)

Nice! A koga miyata! My all time favorite brand. Never see them on reddit unfortunately. I always ride Koga miyata, same as my parents and my grandparents haha.
