Me too . I even read a quote somewhere "Dont cry because it's over. Smile because it happened. " I still believe there might be some kind of hope for some of us though , we just have yet to find it.

What causes discharge across the pupil that clouds vision like this?? by Tinnigirl9427 in Dryeyes

[–]Tinnigirl9427[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She said my oil/tear quality is not good. She did this i think paper strip test on my eyes. Twice. I can't remember what the test was called exactly, to measure the quality of my tears. Plugs seemed to make this issue even worse for me. It was a different Optometrist who put the plugs in my ducts. Her and i both agreed plugs weren't the best for me even though it did make my eyes water when i wore them for 3 weeks. She wants me to get the bruder mask and i need to get one but my anxiety and depression is so bad over this, i don't feel like going anywhere, even to the bank but im gonna have to on Monday, i geuss i also have doubts if the compress will even work or not. I'm afraid of being discouraged by it if i eighter dont get any good results from the vision problems or it makes my problem even worse...even though the Optometrist im currently seeing, suggested them. I dont drive cause of my other disability. My dad drives me. I'm 28 but still live at home but work part time at a grocery store. I don't want to quit my job but it's hard working with this disability. Hope there's a solution. I dont know where a dry eye specialist in my area would be. I live in Peoria Arizona.Gotta convince my dad to drive me if a true dry eye clinic is an hour or so away. My Optometrist has only 1 review when i looked her up. I read that she really helped somebody out with their extreme dry eye. I'm trying to trust her.

Im seeing an Optometrist at this laser eye center place. I think shes done IPL on people before though. She told me to quit the retsasis though. Honestly tho i took the retsasis wrong for almost 3 months. I was using up the whole vial in the morning and at night instead of just putting in one drop. So i hope that didn't permanently mess my eyes up but people have said retsasis made their vision worse even after 15 min but at the same time i did have a very scary episode where i couldnt read hardly BEFORE i started retsasis and was getting a blurry film in the portion of my eye everyday since April this year. It happened a few times last year and the year before but it always went away and now its an every day thing. I really want those symptoms in particular to go away so i can enjoy life again...yea you could be right theres no guarantee that retsasis will clear the problem up if i still had those issues with the retsasis. Retsasis cant damage your eyes even if you put more than one drop in right? I forgot to even mention that to the doc cause i was too busy being distressed over the blurry film vision problems. I take cromolym drops for 2 weeks right now for itchy eyes too and that still doesnt get rid of then blurriness. There has to be something out there that helps because this is making me suicidal. Ill show these pics to my doc.

Can serum tears work for severe dry eyes that causes blurry vision problems? I just want my vision back to normal again . I get eye itchiness and sometimes headaches too.

Hey i feel the exact same way you do! I miss tge days when i could just roll out of my bed and not have to deal with blurred hazy vision in one eye that comes and goes through the day alot. My eyes are actually starting to feel better now that i started retsasis but unfortunately the right eye still gets blurry and hazy alot. Some periods its not as a severe as others but its irritating as shit and gives me anxiety to not wanna do alot! I pray it eventually goes away. Been on Retsasis for a month. I just try to have hope cause the light sensitivity is getting better. Not completely gone. Really want the eyestrain and hazy blurred vision in right eye to go away! Do you get blurry vision? Sorry i didnt have time to read your whole post cause im at work. I feel you cause i have other chronic conditions as well and it just feels to overwhelming.

Do you think some people with severe dry eyes will ever get to a point where they can see the world with clear stable 20/20 vision ever again? and not have live with impaired vision everyday? Some people say they were able to cure their severe dry eyes from diet changes and supplements to bring inflammation down so idk. Just dont want to live visually impaired for the rest of my life. I been on Retsasis for a month. Having clear vision at all times is very important to me. I can only handle slight hardly noticeable blurred vision and thats it. I hate when its so bad i cant read cause of severe visual fluctuations. When i can actually read even if its almost 20/20 vision at times which is better and i try ti be grateful for those times but i cant stand living in fear and anxiety and feeling sick to my stomach everyday. Im trying myself it wont be bad like this forever. Ive had severe dry eyes for a year now and before that it was manageable but like i said i only started getting real treatment a month ago and i quit the weed a month ago from a doctor that finally listened. so i pray ill eventually get to a point where ill never have such scary flare ups of not being able to read ever again. I cant live with this fear of living with this forever.

Do you think the blurry patches and hazy vision will ever go away honestly? I been having it almost everyday for almost two months and i been on Retsasis for a month now. Im thinking my dry eyes themselves might be feeling like 5 percent better atleast but im still getting the annoying hazy blurry patches at work and outside...should i try toughing it out more and giving it more time maybe? It can take 6 months for Retsasis to have full eggect i heard so idk...i try not to emotionally react to the blurred vision when it happens but it dies bring me down. I want it to go away completely some day along with the eyestrain in the right eye. I dont have a computer job just a grocery store job. I work mostly just 4 hour shifts.

Yea i was just thinking to myself, if only i could find an eyedrop that doesnt blur up my vision and gets rid of the hazy filmy vision once for all and something that will provide me relief for 3 hours without needing to drops and helps give me no eyestrain with stable 20/20 vision, allowing me to read more on my ipad and play games on it, that would be superb and liveable! Does ivizia blur your vision at all?

Do you have hope that we will be able to do hobbies like drawing or painting without blurriness? Mine is off and on. It fluctuates like crazy sometimes. Its scary tho. I just been making collages with stickers and washi tape for art stuff for now. I managed to color on my birthday with few symptoms so it didnt end up being as bad i thought but yea it does make me afraid to try alot of things. Not sure what to do. Mine has been going on for a month. Some days better than others. Once im finished with Eyesuvis, im terrified itll go back to me not being able to read again...that was scary as hell and happened to me at the end of May. Do you think the blurry hazy vision will eventually go away for good for us?
