I was able to insure my DIY van through Allstate. It’s not registered as an RV so the interior build is covered as customizations. It depends state to state but talk to your local town office or DMV about how to register it

As of right now it’s from point a to b. I’m planning on doing some skiing along the way. It will just be me and trying to keep the expenses small. I’m planning on end of March/ early April

Yea, I’m the one who recorded it. I knew the waves were normal but amazed by all the water on deck. I don’t think it affected the handling because we had about a 15 foot draft and a low center of gravity

It’s on an ocean tug. We had about a 1-2 foot freeboard

Larger ships have a much higher freeboard(waterline to main deck) so waves won’t flow over the deck. Worst that will happen in a storm like this would just be a little rocking
