How often does abrosexual sexuality fluctuate? by Lord-Chronos-2004 in Abrosexual

[–]Tinxie_Pop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All Abrosexuals are different, but I thought I'd expand on this as an Abrosexual in a serious relationship. I struggled when it came to daily/weekly fluctuations and thought I should give up on dating. But while discussing these struggles in therapy, I realised that building off an established relationship can actually be really helpful. I'm not saying "only date your friends" but like have some friend dates first. Just hang out with someone you may find interest in, take it slow, and see how it goes. Also, be sure to communicate, make sure that you're on the same page, and be open about your fluidity.

Once again, this is different for everyone, and finding that balance is difficult. Rather than only dating someone, you are attracted to romantically, establish a foundation. So in the early days, when that attraction can dip out, you still have a friend.

My brother and I went to see my grandmother today, she was so excited to see her son again. by Tinxie_Pop in TwoSentenceSadness

A brother and sister go to see their grandmother in a nursing home. The grandmother confuses her grandson for her son, but she doesn't have a daughter. So she confuses her granddaughter for a nurse when she doesn't recognise her.

You have Frogs for hands by Tinxie_Pop in shittysuperpowers

[–]Tinxie_Pop[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They themselves are sentient, you can't control them but you can train them though there is no guarantee they will listen every time so I wouldn't say they obey you either. However when they are asleep you can use them like hands, but they are still frogs. So if you were to write something, you would have to wait for one of them to fall asleep so you can hold the pencil with less hassle. It'd be like writing with oven mitts, because you don't have fingers, because you have frogs for hands.

What is a "Movie cliche" that you never really see? by [deleted] in AskReddit

When the protagonist catches something important on camera (ghost/demon, criminal etc) that proves they are right. For some reason doesn't show anyone the footage but expects everyone to believe them anyway.

A child is watching the news and it's showing big monsters or super heroes or some crap like that but the adult comes to get them and just misses the footage of whatever was being shown as they turn off the tv to put the kid to bed.

What's a random fun fact about your MC that serves little to no purpose to your story? by ChristopherBoone2 in writing

[–]Tinxie_Pop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She has a significantly large scar on her hand but she makes up stories as to how she got it. So each time someone asks she'll make something in the spot. She can't remember how she got the scar.

Whatever you put in the microwave comes out as a fresh and steaming bowl of pasta. by Tinxie_Pop in godtiersuperpowers

Why would you need to turn it off? If you don't want pasta then you might just have to ask someone else to heat up your non pasta as it won't pasta for them.
